Head down and sprinting
Terrified and squinting
My back is hunched low
Nightmares wherever I go
Spiders all around me
Their webs are all that I see
And I end up within the lair
All I can do is stop and stare
Eight limbs crawling
Eight eyes staring
My soul burning
My mind scrambling
Arms and legs now tethered
The clinging silk smothers
The queen makes her entrance
My mouth moving but without sentence
My eyes weeping
My throat clenching
Her mouth drooling
There's no fooling
Lurching through the spider's nest
Lurching through the spider's nest
Lurking here there's not much left
Lurching through the spider's nest
The spider queen is now here
And I know slow death is near
Soon to be a hatching ground
Within steely silk I am bound
And her eggs burst within my guts
I'm soon to be arachnid lunch
And as they feed upon my heart
My ugly death is just the start
Hanging there within their web
After my life has ebbed
She lays more eggs in my eyes
In my lungs, between my thighs
Eyes of darkness
Mouth of venom
Wretched hive
Spider kingdom
For many years my bones hang here
A reminder of man's total fear
Thousands of spiders come and go
Many humans dying so very slow
Eight limbs grabbing
Eight eyes blazing
My soul beaten
My mind eaten
Lurching through the spider's nest
Lurching through the spider's nest
Lurking here there's not much left
Lurching through the spider's nest
The spider queen is now here
And I know slow death is near
Soon to be a hatching ground
Within steely silk I am bound
And her eggs burst within my guts
I'm soon to be arachnid lunch
And as they feed upon my heart
My ugly death is just the start
Spiders
Spiders
Spiders
Spiders
Lurching through the spider's nest
Lurching through the spider's nest
The spider queen is now here
And I know slow death is near
Soon to be a hatching ground
Within steely silk I am bound
And her eggs burst within my guts
I'm soon to be arachnid lunch
And as they feed upon my heart
My ugly death is just the start
